Branch Links

CAMRA BC currently has five established branches. Local branches are run by volunteer executives, who like the BC Executive, are elected each year at the branch’s Annual General Meeting.

While CAMRA BC is responsible for setting overall policy, establishing the society’s vision and mission while overseeing the entire society, the local branches focus on the day-to-day business of the society, focusing on regional issues, meetings and events while also supporting provincial advocacy campaigns and CAMRA BC initiatives.

Victoria Branch – Established in 1990

Vancouver Branch – Established in 2001

Powell River Branch – Established in 2013

South Okanagan Branch – Established in 2015

You’ve missed the Okanagan as a region. Let’s chat.

      Hi Deb,
      Thanks for contacting us.

Unfortunately, the two fellows there were the driving force behind the Penticton Branch moved away.

If there is enough interest in the area, it would be great to get folks in the region involved again.

The first step would be for them to join CAMRABC.

Do you feel that there is the critical mass to get things going again?

      Cheers,
      Mark – CAMRABC Secretary/Treasurer

How about a Cariboo branch? Especially with the advent of the Barkerville Brewing Company coming to Quesnel.

        • Mark says:

          Hi David.
That would be great. CAMRABC is volunteer driven society and once there is a critical mass of CAMRABC members in an area, they can put their heads together and make a proposal to the BC executive to form a local branch. The request is evaluated we would go from there.
The first step is to get your friends to join CAMRA BC.
