It is my sad duty to inform the members of CAMRA BC that our friend, long time supporter of CAMRA and former executive member of both CAMRA BC provincial and Victoria boards passed away quietly in her sleep last night following a prolonged fight with cancer.
We are all richer for the time she shared with us and poorer for having to say good bye so soon. Sometime today take a moment to raise a glass to Suzanne: a generous friend and a beautiful soul.
Please feel free to share any memories you have of Suzanne in the comments. I’ll post details about her Celebration of Life as Erin, her daughter, puts them up on Suzanne’s facebook site.
And thank you Terry Boorman for sharing these pictures. I’m pretty sure everyone who might not remember her name will immediately recognize the warm heart and smile that made them welcome at so many CAMRA meetings.
Such a lovely woman – I’m honoured to have been among her friends and I will miss her beautiful smile and her wonderful sense of humour.
This is devastating news. I had the pleasure of serving on the CAMRA Victoria executive with Suzanne, and I’ll miss her quick wit, her positive outlook and her infectious enthusiasm for life.
Her contributions to CAMRA were numerous and significant and she will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace Suzanne.
